If are using the MTN Simple Server on your Android phone, you may have noticed that the internet connection doesn’t power some apps such as WhatsApp, BBM, etc. But with a little tweak, you can configure the Simple Server to have full internet function. However you need to note that your must root your phone for this to work.
You can try rooting your phone with King Root. King Root is by far the best rooting app for Android Phones. If King Root didn’t work on your phone, you can Google how to root the phone.

Back to the business of using Simple Server to power all apps on your Android device…
To use Simple Server to power all your app, you will need AutoProxy Lite. You can download AutoProxy Lite from play store.
Once downloaded and installed, the next thing you is to configure it with the following settings
- Host: 127.0.01
- Port: 8080
- Type: http
You can find AutoProxy setting by tapping on the white bar at the top with notwork info and selecting “Edit” from the pop-up.
The next page is where you enter your settings.
Don’t forget to check the “Auto-connect” box at the top right so that the AutoProxy will start running automatically whenever you on your data connection.
You can also share your Simple Server data with other Android devices via tethering and portable hotspot. All you have to do for this to work is to have Simple Server and AutoProxy up and running on both device with their appropriate settings in place.
